Meet The Founder
Elisha’s wildlife rehabilitation experience is rooted in her personal state-licensed work. Boulderwood Sanctuary itself focuses on providing lifelong care for domestic and exotic sanctuary animals.
Elisha is a lifelong animal lover, nature enthusiast, and state-licensed wildlife rehabilitator whose work is grounded in compassion, patience, and connection.
Before founding Boulderwood Sanctuary, she spent years caring for injured and orphaned wildlife and helping others reconnect with healing through time spent outdoors.
Her vision for Boulderwood grew from the belief that animals and people are meant to heal alongside one another—that the stillness of nature, the trust of animals, and the rhythm of the land can restore even the most exhausted hearts.
When she is not caring for animals, Elisha is tending to her daughters, creating nature-inspired goods, styling hair, or exploring the woods with her family.
“Every rescued soul, whether furred or feathered, reminds me that second chances are sacred.”
— Elisha
