Meet Our Residents
Every animal who finds their way to Boulderwood Animal Sanctuary has a story. Our residents come to us through situations of neglect, abuse, abandonment, or owner surrender, often when they have nowhere else to go.
Some arrive scared or unsure. Others simply need a safe place to land. All are given time, patience, and lifelong care in a peaceful environment where they are respected as individuals—not commodities.
Here, they are not bred, sold, or rehomed. They are safe. They are home.
Animal sponsorship opportunities will be available soon, offering a meaningful way to support the lifelong care of individual residents while forming a deeper connection to their stories.
As you meet each resident, you’re meeting an animal whose life was changed by compassion—and whose presence helps create healing for others, too.
Uno
Male Bearded Dragon
Date of arrival: 12/5/2025

Uno is a 2-year-old bearded dragon found in early December, hidden under pillows in a freezing, abandoned apartment. He’s been safe and spoiled since arriving—and will never be neglected or forgotten again.
